Work History

I have been interested in computing since a very young age, I remember being given a ZX81 when I was 8 years old which I guess is where the obsession started. From here I progressed to a C64 and an Amiga before joining the PC revolution!

My interest in the Internet and computer communications started as a teenager when I set up a small bulletin board running on an old Amstrad 1640, it was called Hackers Haunt but had absolutely nothing to do with hacking! A great marketing ploy though!

I only had one phone line, one modem, and one PC so Hackers Haunt was limited to one user at a time! Thank god for the Internet.

My interest in the Internet deepend towards the end of 1997 when I first started building databases and back end code for websites designed by my colleague and mate Dan Winchester. Myself and Dan built and continue to develop and support the very popular UK freelancers website - Freelancers.net

The details of my work and education history are shown below:

July 2000 - Present Freelance Web Developer
July 1996 - July 2000 Systems Analyst for EDS
January 1996 - July 1996 Pensions Administrator for Prudential
October 1992 - July 1995 Computing Degree at the Univeristy of Leeds
